Sayenko Kharenko

Serhiy Verlanov has extensive experience in taxation and tax litigation and significant expertise advising on public sector projects.

He regularly handles sophisticated taxation matters relating to cross-border transaction structuring, tax due diligence, public and private offerings, intercompany charges, dividend distribution, and other complex international projects.

Serhiy is an experienced tax litigator with over a decade of successful representation of clients, including expat top managers, in criminal cases of tax evasion as well as in tax litigation proceedings at all levels of the judiciary.

Serhiy is also actively engaged in public sector projects (Ministry of Regional Development, Building, and Housing of Ukraine, the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine) with regard to the development of an alternative resolution mechanism, legal framework for new processes in order to ensure good governance, transparency and a corruption-free environment.
