Through his career, Dmytro focused on precise systems of high complexity: software architectures, measurement systems, and robotics and drones.
Dmytro graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine. He worked as a project architect at Ukrainian National Metrology Institution, as a software architect at several software companies and as CEO of Kray Technologies.
Dmytro is the author of about 20 indexed publications and patents on software architecture and precision measurements in leading journals. Project portfolio includes measurement system architectures, national standards and most precise automated impedance comparison system in the world delivered to National Institute of Standard and Technology, Gaithersburg, MD.
For the last 4 years, Dmytro Surdu is Kray Technologies project founder and CEO. Kray produces drones for industrial-scale crop protection application. Due to high productivity, application quality, and degree of automation Kray Protection UAS provides 500% to 2500% of Return On Investment for the farmer.
Nowadays, one of the most important innovation segments in the world and in Ukraine is Ag Tech. Drones, data observations, clouds and AI processing became the most advanced technologies for decades, with the radical shift in productivity.
Meanwhile, one key is still missed: how to implement new data-driven decisions in the field. Old approaches don’t work due to their inefficiency.
Here we tell how Kray Protection UAS is changing the whole world of the agriculture with fully automated web services with the hardest real-world execution domain: the crop protection application.
